Cheap Android Phone for Chromecast

Hi ozbargainers,
I’m searching for a cheap android phone (preferably under $100) so I can use it for chromecast -> mainly mirroring media and videos. Does anyone have any recommendation on the model and where to buy them? All my family use iPhone so unfortunately recycle our old phones aren’t an option.

    Doesn't Chromecast work with iOS also?

      Yes Everything Chromecast does on Android it also does on IOS, except you can't mirror the screen of an iPhone using Chromecast but you can airplay it.

      iOS only works if the app supports chromecast, but I need to mirror the screen :( airplay is only available for Apple TV

        If it's pics/videos you should be able to find an app which would cast them

          Thank you for the idea! I paid for a few apps but they all crash and aren’t as stable - and it’s a bit more challenging to my older parents. But for anyone who doesn’t need to play videos, the apps work well
