There is another little HITMAN 3 freebie just in time for the weekend.
The Policitican in Hawke's Bay elusive target mission is temporarily unlocked for all to play if you own the HITMAN 3 Starter Pack which is itself free.

The Season of Greed also brings an Elusive Target from Hawke’s Bay; The Politician is back. Hawke’s Bay is currently a featured location in the HITMAN 3 Free Starter Pack, which means this Elusive Target is available to all HITMAN 3 owners and all Free Starter Pack players. Study the briefing closely.

If you have HITMAN 3 or the HITMAN 3 – Free Starter Pack already installed, you won’t need to download anything else to play the Hawke's Bay mission. Launch your game, go to Destinations > Hawke's Bay > Elusive Target and you’ll be playing in seconds.

    Hmm, yeah… their new model is making missions available to play for free temporarily (and presumably rotating between them) instead of making them free to keep after some time. I get it, but not exactly the greatest for your average cheapskate LOL.

      This is more about getting people back to the game regularly (ie at least once a month) instead of playing once and not going back to it when the expansions come out.

      The elusive target though is a one off mission. If you miss the time frame you never get another chance. You can restart the mission as many times as you want, but once you have killed the target you can never restart again. So if you kill the target, but fail (or miss a challenge by getting discovered) you can't try again.

    So I've got the free starter pack. Apparently I can import Hitman 2 missions into this. What do I need to buy to get everything? Hitman 2 Gold edition?

      Hitman 2 Gold yes. For all Hitman 1 content, I think just owning the regular version will allow you to claim the GOTY edition within Hitman 3.

    Isn't Hawke's bay part of Hitman 2 and already free as the first chapter tho?

      Yes the location is, but Elusive targets isn't usually as that is Hitman 3 content.
