Best Reusable Cups for Smoothies

Hey Guys,

I was just wondering if anyone can recommend a reusable cup for homemade smoothies (to bring to work) - leakproof etc.

My husband has a Frank Green for his coffee (plastic base) but i find it reeks in smell and the lid is annoying to wash.

Would love some new ideas how to bring my smoothies to work. Thanks guys~!

    Best reusable cups for Smoothies

I just cup my hands together…

  • I would just use a normal thermos that you have to take the entire lid off and sip like a cup or add your own reusable straw?

Once a fortnight I make 14 smoothies and freeze them using these bottles. Once I have 30 bottles I will make them once a month

    • Thats quite smart, only thing its not insulated. Thanks though :)

      • Could get an insulated bag to chuck them in? But I suppose you may not want to carry even more stuff around

  • We use the cups and flip top lids that come with the Nutribullet.

    • I would love to use them but they arent insulated. Thanks though !

  • Definitely have a look at the Simple Modern tumblers on Amazon Aus.

    Example: https://www.amazon.com.au/Simple-Modern-Classic-Tumbler-Stra…

We've got heaps of them in different sizes, and use them for wine, cocktails in the spa (won't shatter if they're dropped over the side!), water at our desks when working from home, etc. They're also meant to be great for hot drinks, but we haven't tried them for that. We've often had ice in them for over 24 hours (just keep topping up the water), so I can confirm they stay super chilly!

The ones with the screw-on lids with the flip opening are the best in terms of being able to carry them around. You need to make sure the flip lid is locked down tight, otherwise they can leak.

They're a bit on the pricey side, but we've had ours for years, and have never had an issue with them. Hand wash only, and they'll last for ages. Plus the colours are awesome, if that matters to you. :)

Edited to add - they also do coffee cups, if hubby needs a new one: https://www.amazon.com.au/Simple-Modern-Scout-Coffee-Flip/dp…

  • Cocktail shaker.

  • I highly recommend yeti tumblers with the straw lid. They’re not leakproof so you can’t just chuck the whole thing in your bag when it’s full but it keeps your drink so cold and it’s completely dishwasher safe, which 99% of other insulated tumblers or cups aren’t.

  • Any large enough drink bottle with a screw or secure clamp on lid. If quite small funnel the smoothy in. Lifeline from $2.

When finished during the day, replenish with rinsing water.

Washing is simples that night with the dishes.

Or non OzBargain style is name branded Thermos style.
