Low cost GFX PCie card for HEVC (UHD) video on Linux HTPC

I'm deciding whether to chuck the HTPC media box used in our main viewing area into the bin or to plug in an HEVC capable GFX PCie card.

Anything above $150 is probably not justifiable.

Suggestions?

  GT 1030 would def suit the bill but note that it only supports NVDec, NVEnc is not available on 1030's incase its wanted for encoding duties, so no good for hardware transcoding as a Plex server for example, need at least a 1050 for that.
