    The things I put in it are always cold and are consumed within a few hours so works fine for my needs. It ain't no zojurushi - it is significantly cheaper so you get what you pay for.

  Be aware the hinge breaks easily. Bought for my son. Dropped it, and hinge broke. Amazon replaced but Thermos told me it's not covered by warranty and offered a new lid for $10.

    That's bad luck. Bought two of these four or five years ago and they are still in good condition…but pretty sure if I had lent it to one of my kids it would come back broken.
