        I don’t know to be honest. But even my 5 years old hdd doesn’t make that lousy noice. It’s very frustrating. I don’t think I would buy any other hdd.
        I did watch a few youtube videos to see what’s the normal noise of a hdd and mine makes the exact same noise

      It's unlikely since Chia mining benefits from fast storage specifically.

      The NVME drives from china designed for Chia mining are multiple fold better, and cheaper.

        I probably can't use up 8TB, but Im do waiting for a decent deal of hard disk like 4TB for my new desktop build.

        chia benefits from fast storage for plotting, you use bulk storage for the actual production of chia
