You should mention that it's the Fly More combo cause it's a few hundred dollars more than just the drone itself.

    • Done mate.

  • This is an honest question, please don't take offence, and this may be a question for admins who allow this sort of post (ie hard to get membership).
Its a great price, but for those who do not have access to commercial pricing (ie a username or password to access the website) which is a large number of people using this site, how is this a deal?

No offence taken mate. You are right not all have access to these memberships and the same is true of samsung edu or other portals.

      • Which is why I don't know why the admins allow these posts (not a shot at you in any way).

As for me, I have access to both this and Samsung special pricing and help others where I can (happy to help out others if they want to contact me).

        • And that’s why deals like this have any such limitations in the title, eg Membership Required. If these sorts of deals weren’t posted, eg JB, GoodGuys commercial, Ebay Plus, Amazon Prime etc there would be lots of unhappy people.

          • @Coops1: Ebay Plus and Amazon Prime are more attainable membership schemes, ie anyone can purchase them. JB, GoodGuys commercial, are harder to get for the average person, and in most cases it is either stumble across a username and password, have a friend who is willing to help you with their access, or get a job with an organisation who provides access.

I am of the opinion that if you want to post something like this where the discount is harder to get, you should be willing to help people out, but that is just my opinion. Again, not meant as a shot at you, just questioning why admins still allow these.

And again, happy to help out others if they want to reach out.

I figure this is similar to local/state specific deals. A large number of people using this site might not be able to purchase something in person in WA for example but it's still a valid deal for those who can access the deal.

    • These memberships are pretty easy to get.

For example many associations (eg accounting) have access to these benefits.

In the past, your insurance like Sun Insurance give access to these benefits.

If you don't have access personally, often family or friends will.

I think these do believe in Ozbargains because they are bargains and many people have access to these memberships.

If there were 100 memberships in the whole of Australia, then I would agree with you.

BTW, this is a great price for a new release drone!!!

King of the skies? I dunno man. I feel like an f-22 would probably put a flogging on it.

    • F 22 is for high fliers, this is for grounded people. :)

  • I would still consider the MP2 better than this, but the gap is closing

    • A lot of reviews comparing the two out there. The major differences seem to variable aperture in M2P. The video, tracking etc seemed to be better in this.

      Tough pick i guess…

      • You would hope so, considering the 2/3 year gap since the M2P was launched. That and the zoom is a fantastic addition.

Still love my M2P dearly though. I'd expect to see a M3P in the next 1-2 years anyways with some advancements.

I really hope they work on the battery though, a 40+ min flight on a single battery would be fantastic.

    • also around $500+ dearer so you would hope so

Considering upgrading my Air 1 with this… Probably won't as a barely fly the air anyways..

  • Looks like it's $1,997.97 now

    • Still showing $1957 to me.

I noticed a while ago that pricing differs for different companies (logins)

      • Ah. Thats Sneaky.

        • i wouldn't say sneaky, more teared membership which organisations are willing to take up for their staff, ie organisation pays more for membership, staff within that organisation get more of a discount.

      • :o

        • @howaaronic, are you going to upgrade yours?

It's tempting! The big question is, how much should I tell the wife I bought this for?

    • Tell her you paid $957.56 but its RRP was $2957.56, thus $2000 saved!
