      • Probably all sold, they're no longer listed on the website at all..

        • Aww, nuts. Big Bellroy fan, their products are pretty, durable and sensible - usually you can only pick two when choosing a bag. The other brand I like purse-wise is 'The Sak' - love their convertible purse/crossbody

Great price. Still full-price/not discontinued over on Bellroy's website

Thanks, grabbed one! Been using Bellroy wallets for years now, so figured I'd grab a folio for the missus.

  • What's the difference between a folio wallet and a purse?

    • +1

I would carry a folio wallet around but probably not a purse…

    • Purse has handles (in my opinion)

      Wikipedia says purses are American

I always thought a purse was something that usually women used that carried more coins and cards than a men's wallet and were more designed to go in a handbag than in your pocket. That's what I've heard referred to as purses mostly anyway. This folio wallet seems to be what I've heard commonly referred to as a purse, maybe not as common as I thought though.

        • Nope. Wallets are wallets; never referred to my wallet as a purse. There's big wallets (like the Folio) and then you have small wallets (I have the Bellroy Zip Wallet myself)

@kerfuffle: When someone is so sure of themselves and makes definitive statements such as "Nope" alarm bells always ring. Therefore I actually bothered to google the definition of purse. The British definition is:

a small pouch of leather or plastic used for carrying money, typically by a woman.

Good to know I'm not going crazy lol

            • @thestig: Key word: pouch. I wouldn't call my wallet a pouch.

You do know you're talking to a woman, right?

Also no one ever said you were crazy. I just don't think purses and wallets are the same thing, as a non-American.

  • The link https://bellroy.com/products/folio/leather_rfid/black#slide-… shows price as $239. Where does it show as $120?

You're clicking on the wrong link. Try the photo in the OP of the wallet, which takes you to Milligram Outlet

      • Gotcha, thanks :).

  • I always wanted to buy it, but I bought it cheaply at the right time. Thank you for the good information.
