Made in Vietnam - Appears to be a parallel import. Caveat emptor.

    Discussed previously - http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/24544

yep…. its crap compared to local product. you have to use twice as much to get a decent clean, and even then its not as good.

      junk.

  • I personally don't trust parallel imports for this type of product. I find the quality isn't as good, and who knows what 'other' chemicals are in there compared to the aussie version.

Not a bad price though, for washing pet blankets, rags etc…

yes some parallel imports are ok, washing powder is generally not.

  • I would not even use it to wash pet blankets or rags

FYI i know someone that gets a rash if they use australian made washing powder, but the vietnamese import OMO is fine (they sell this at GO-LO). i think it's the other way around actually. so unless you have some credible information to refute the quality of this product, please [mod: removed - language]

are you saying the foreign stuff is better than the local stuff? What if your friend is just allergic to detergent? it would make sense then.

        • +1

I've tried the stuff, I had to use 2-3 scoops to get a good clean, which means is 2-3 times more expensive than stated while its only 25% cheaper than alternatives.

Its not inferior because its foreign. Its inferior because its inferior.

If you're using it to the instructions, the reason why you might not be experiences rashes is because you've just basically washed it with water. For your friend who is allergic, try "wool mix"

So, what you are saying, basically, is that this is a good product for everybody because one person you know doesn't get a rash from it. If all products were released for public use with this logic… Hmmm…
I think most people would be interested more in it's performance, eh?

I have purchased this deal last time, the product is made in Vietnam, (didn't realize then).
But works well on my top loader and I wash my cloths in this every week, very good fragrance.

  • PASS.

Spewing if you missed out on this one… http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/61592

  • My family and friends prefer this over the Australian version they sed this leave a nice fragrance after you finsh washing your clothes

    • thats probably what half the powder in it is, not detergent, just fragrance?

  • Can anyone post what their best laundry powder for a front loader is?

    • +1

the best is omo (australian) but it is also the most expensive.

  • Doesn't look like the "sensitive" version.

  • I got this last time and it works great. I wash everything with it even my baby and toddler's cloths and they have never had a rash and I never have to rewash.
