  One of the reviews for Simpian, interesting:

  Please note if you believe notes are backed up securely with your password, you're wrong. I tested it by creating a few notes, assigning them a password, backing up the data to sd card, then reinstalling the app. This time, I imported the saved data and it was all without any security, no password. So, anyone wanting to get your data if you have forgotten, do it this way, your data is stored without your password, very insecure.
