Part of Vinomofo's 10 year celebration sales…
I have it on good authority that this wine is in fact from Palliser Estate. However all Martinborough Pinot Noir is very high quality. It very rare to see Martinborough Pinot Noir for under $20/bottle.
The group behind this pinot is one of the undisputed leaders of Martinborough and recognised for their excellence around the world. This wine is from their junior range - wines crafted with drinkability in mind, all great regional and varietal examples. The wine has been made with freshness as the driving force, and is fruit-forward and vibrant with a nose of cherry, plum and rose petal. It spent nearly a year in 25% new oak - so there’s a bit of vanilla and spice, nestled in a medium-body, with just the right amount of tannin.
