I had the same issue for one restaurant but found another which worked with the code.
Already limited with number of restaurants available in my area to take advantage of this!

Took 2 hours to have my order delivered on Saturday. Pathetic
I had a driver mark the order as collected on his way from the other end of town with my cold meal - that way I couldn’t track him on the map. He had obviously taken on too many orders.
Not only was the order cold when it arrived two hours late, but it was completely wrong. I pulled him up and he just said that ‘you will need to contact the restaurant’, which I did, who then direct you to Menulog. They just ran the usual ‘we are very sorry for your bad experience sir’ but I argued and got a full refund.
The drivers know they don’t get rated like a service like Uber, and there’s no penalty for poor service.
it happens a lot. if you order a lot menulog just go, nope.
Doesn't surprise me. Getting a refund is also a pia when compared to Uber Eats (literally a minute or two process).

Interesting, in the past they've been good and have given some credits out of "goodwill" (normally $5 voucher which is automated I believe when restaurant cancels yours order).
Speaking of, I found a long strand of hair in my chicken tikka yesterday so made a complaint to Menulog, was told will get a response in 3-4 days as they investigate so will see what unfolds.
While they do always return more when making a refund, it's the fact it takes such a long time. I have gotten three refunds and each one took 30 to 45 minutes.
@Rodgort: 30-45 mins is much better than the quoted 3-4 days in my case!
Did you contact them via chat or ring them up?
I got the same ($7 off) but hardly any 'delivered by restaurant' places in my area

Restaurants have raised their prices across the board on Menulog. Paired with the awful customer service and drivers that have no incentive for quality. They really dropped the ball.
CHecks scale, triple digits. Maybe not… xD
