I'm surprised this hasn't been submitted before as its been around for years. For those that don't know you can use this site to get 1 free pc to phone call a day (2 if you register). Currently you can call any Australian landline (and mobile?) phone for a period of up to 2 minutes for free. You can exploit this and get more calls each day if you change your IP.
Pretty cool site.

Only seems useful for a quick call to tell a friend to get on skype I guess, thats if they have it…

When I try to make a call, I get an error message that says 'Unfortunately, free calls in this area are temporarily unavailable. Please try tomorrow. See a list of available destinations here.'
I've tried dialling both Australian mobile and land line numbers. The websites that I've found by google searching 'betamax voip' give me errors as well. Could you please give me a direct link to the website that you were referring to, jiandal?
Moved to the forums. Betamax has been doing free SIP based VoIP for yonks under various brands.
There are plenty of these on the web. Search 'betamax voip' in Google. Not really worth the time for 2 min of phone calls tbh.
