Does anyone have any knowledge on these 2 types of air filters? Which one is best?

Germguardian ac5900
My dad is going into surgery for cancer and I'd like to purchase one for him.
Any suggestions also appreciated.

Germguardian ac5900 has a UV light, which will help kill germs in the air etc, but in theory they shouldn't get past a good filter ;)
Also don't forget our fav air filter unit out there

Personally, I'd steer clear of anything Kogan.
Does Germguardian come in a 240V variant?
The US models mention only 120V, which won't work in OZ without additional equipment/cost:
"Plug the power cord into a 120V AC outlet."
