Arctic Freezer 34 Esports DUO CPU Cooler $83.99 Delivered @ OzGameShop

110

$84 delivered for an Arctic Freezer 34 eSports DUO Edition Heatsink & Fan. Usually costs around $100.

There hasn't been many CPU cooler deals recently and this is a well reviewed air cooler for a great price.

Dual Fans.
Fluid Dynamic Bearing.
Intel & AMD Sockets (see link for list of compatible sockets).
10 Year Warranty.

I bought this after a lot of research. It came down to this deal vs the Gammax 400 EX (with Russian reviews saying they can be really loud) vs the Scythe Fuma 2 (too expensive).

The red one is available too for a buck more.

Shipping times may be slower than stated in my experience.

For reference this is one of the better cooler comparison reviews: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GSoaRsuke4

At this price, just get Noctua NH-U12s. Which has killer performance, almost on par with NH-15 and it’s still cheaper $76 ($85 delivered)

    • Great cooler, but shows as $126.50 for me…?

Edit: have to change selected seller. I found it.
In that case, you are totally right, this should be posted as deal.

That's pretty much the regular price on Newegg, they have good prices on most Noctua parts.

        • taiwan direct is it not and speedy i hear? or at least faster than newegg..

          • @petry: Nope, my experience was pretty good. Just over a week. All you can ask for in this climate.

@petry: Delivered in 10 days back in Nov

        • Yeap, that’s why it’s not really posted. This is regular price.

Good stuff, that is a great deal. I'm still happy with my purchase but I don't think I saw that. Hopefully the discussion here helps out prospective buyers.

Its a very good cooler, i use it myself and it's been perfect, installation is a bit finicky though

    • To add to this noctua one comes with their top tier paste and all hardware to mount all sockets and future socket support when you mail them.

It’s dead quite and they are also famous with how easy it is to put on.

Nice, and Noctua's support is supposed to be next level (on request they even ship out free new hardware for their old coolers to mount onto new socket types!). This Arctic Duo comes with MX-4 thermal paste which is supposed to be pretty good too, and I figured a 10 year warranty sounded pretty great as well, not that CPU fans fail much (I'm told).

Arctic were also giving out free mounting kits for the AM4 sockets if your older cooler didn't have the kit included.
          Just had to email them.

  • Is this brand the same as Arctic cooling back in the mid 2000s?

    • Yes. I'd say they're famous for those black and white CPU coolers.

Bought this cooler few months back as I wanted fully white with the 2 fans. Using it on a 5600x and it's been pretty good.

General everyday usage there is hardly any noise from the fans, at first I had to check it was on. CPU sits around 37 - 40c and that's at 25c room temp.

Running CPU at 100% on 4.5ghz, so not to fast, fan speed at 70% it'll sit around 52-54c
My RX 6800 xt makes more fan noise when pushed !

    • Nice thanks for the heads up as I have bought it for a 3600 (in the techfast RTX 3070 deal from Feb) with the intent to have some room to move for a future CPU upgrade.
