Just wondering, I'm assuming it will allow you to keep the games you 'bought'? Or do those games become unavailable once the trial ends? Thanks in advance.
Im quite sure its the latter. Once it ends or you stop paying for it, you lose access to those games.
So its just Gaming as a service?
Hmm, I'm wondering how they would do that since the game is local, it's installed on your phone so how would you lose access to those games?
Im assuming when you try to load the game, it first checks your access rights to it (server side) and then denies you the ability to load and play it.
@Trishool: Yeah, that makes more sense I guess. If you play the game offline however, that'll probably be a different story. Anyway, thanks for your advice.
@CrispyChrispy: So that would probably involve a dedicated device that you keep offline. And I'd say the DRM either will check in every time or frequently enough that this won't work…
You can't keep the games you play. Might vary between apps but for the things I've downloaded, they have told me I don't own a copy anymore and can't play.
except games, any useful use for this?
Is Google One part of this Google Play Pass thingie?
Can I sign up to this and get Google One for free???
Beware, I started this trial and it got me hooked on Stardew Valley.
