Was about to post the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite on sale at AliExpress when I noticed it's currently US$10 cheaper at Banggood.

Note: 200 units available for preorder and will ship on April 29.

Also worth mentioning the Mi 11 Lite 5G is expected to be released soon, so if you want 5G and better chipset you may want to wait for that one. The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite & Mi 11 Lite 5G are identical except the 4G variant has the Snapdragon 732G instead of the Snapdragon 780G and it has a 16MP selfie camera, instead of the 5G's 20MP. Also the Mi 11 Lite has a glossy rear panel, while the 5G gets a more premium-feeling matte finish.

  • In description it doesn't include b28, are we sure this is the same version from gsmarena?

    • it does have B28

Supports dual nano-SIM cards* Supports 4G+/4G/3G/2G

    • There's only one version, the Global Version and it includes Band 28.

  • +2

This does not have expanded memory or 3.5 mm jack
for $370 have a look at the redmi note 10 pro very similar a little heavier but larger battery look compare below

    Compare

    • Oops my bad, read a few reviews like this one that mention it does have a 3.5mm jack. Checking specs again at gsmarena and kimovil it doesn't. Have updated OP, thanks.

  • Why would you buy this over: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/615494

Snapdragon 732G vs Snapdragon 860 and the X3 Pro has 64GB more storage

    • +1

AMOLED display, slimmer (6.8mm) and lighter (157g). Also better main camera.

      • I've got 9T with AMOLED and wife has X3 with 732G.

For our use-cases, I'd take raw processing power over AMOLED screen when I compare to my wife's ips screen.

We aren't selfie conscious or massively into cameras in general - again, everyone's requirements are different but I'd take the $90 difference my way on the X3 Pro with 128Gb of storage and SD860

        • +1

The SD780G looks great it performs better than the SD860 so an upgrade to the 5G variant of this phone is probably worth it. Then you also have the Poco F3 which is probably better overall compared to the Mi 11 lite.

    • -1

Because the mi 11 lite comes with 1 x Type-C to 3.55mm Headphone adapter

    • B28 not showing on the X3 Pro?

      • BG have listed the wrong specs, the X3 Pro has Band 28.

    • Depends on what you want, Mi is always better built than Redmi/Poco. Redmi and Poco have better specs and lower price they will cut corners. Even if the camera sensors are the same for example, you will find that processing software is better on Mi than Redmi/Poco.

  • VoLTE on Telstra?

AKAIK, the last Xiaomi Mi phone with Telstra/Boost VoLTE is the Mi 9T & 9T Pro.

Anyone have any luck with Mi 10 or Mi 11?

(Posting from near 2 years old Mi 9T Pro with 4G calling over LTE and WiFi)

  • Is there a camera bump? Looks like there is one but pretty insignificant
