Which you use survey rewards for AA points.
However it might take you a little time to get enough points to convert. Its a good long term strategy.
You could alternatively rent a car from budget for a day to get 500 points. Dont take any insurance, go round the block and return. Choose a midday rental etc for cheapest rate.
I guess the value depends on how many points you are trying to "save" from extinction
Depends on how you've joined e-rewards. I only have the option to redeem for Velocity Points, nothing else.
What I've done previously is donate the minimum of 1,000 miles to a charity. It extends the life of your miles instantly and doesn't cost you any cash.
Just buy 1,000 miles at full price, that's around 30ish bucks?
Can you transfer them to Qantas? Or book a trip with Qantas and add your AA number in?
