Moved to Canberra, Need Suggestions for Cheap Power & Internet

Hi Guys,

Just moved to Canberra yesterday and going to stay here for at least next 2 years. Can anyone suggest cheap Electricity and Gas provider and also NBN provider please.

  Tangerine for NBN. Ask on here for a referral code. (customer service is pretty rubbish, but they are cheap for the first six months)

  Origin have a good deal for Gas and electricity with Woolworths.

  Depends on suburb for your utilities. You need to check what type eof NBN / VDSL you have.

  Have a wander around shopping centres, sometimes ActewAGL or Origin might have people signing their customers up for 22% discount or something like that.

  ABB's been pretty good but Belong wasn't too shabby either but then again I do live <1km from the exchange…

  Check if your suburb has iiNet's vdsl2. If it does, get it.
