Why KOGAN sux for "pig in a poke" product offerings (eg, Cordless Drills)

I will NEVER buy No Name stuff from Kogan again!

All the spec's read well, so we bought a drill
2-speed, incl'd battery+charger

What arrives?

A huge carry case (almost empty) w/ tiny drill.
Partially charged, it seemed to work. BUT…

The charger is so light, it must have nearly No
components inside. Can it be safe?

Moreover it has a US plug (Yes, we have
adapters to AU power points)

It takes up WAY too much space.

Always get a look at the product, box, power plug B4 buying.
If they can't/won't show it… leave Kogan for a Real Deal elsewhere, say I

    The smarterhome (tuya) stuff is good and often slightly cheaper than aliexpress

    product offerings (eg, Cordless Drills)

    I buy toolpro stuff from supercheap. They seem very good for my light use at home.

    Some Kogan branded things are ok, my kogan branded air fryer has lasted quite a few years now, I was waiting for it to die before getting a larger one, but it hasn't died yet so far, I have 2 air fryers now. I also have their portable air con, works well, albeit a bit loud.

    How much was it? There have been many great deals on reputable brands like Bosch, etc., over the years.

    Was the purchase from Kogan itself, or from Kogan as the marketplace?

    After my Nutribullet RX (hardcore one) died after 9 months we took the gamble on a cheap Kogan blender. We've had that 4 years now and it hasn't missed a beat. It's a mixed bag I'd say.

    Tiny switch mode power adapters don't have to be heavy, there's no heavy parts.

    It's safe, it'll probably just take a while to charge, but you get what you pay for.

    I've had more good buys of kogan stuff than bad. Their steam mop still works well after 4 years, love the premium dc fan and my dehydrator and stand mixer works well. Prices were well below B&M prices pretty happy with it.

    prolly cause they some little man inside spinning the drill but for ya
    bit slow, bit light, feels empty
