A giveaway like this is really not worth my time. The scooter is worth $800. There are currently 6000 entries. A 1-in-6000 chance is worth about 13c. If it takes me a minute, that values my time at $8 an hour. Why do I bother.
EDIT: I guess I just really want a scooter.
That's an interesting way of looking at it.
If I valued my entries like that with some of the Gleam comps I enter with hundreds of thousands of entries I would have to seriously reevaluate my life decisions.
Luckily though, I don't and just hope the literal hundreds of hours I have spent and will continue to spend on giveaways will pay off eventually…..
