Has anyone heard of Sunmate Solar?
$2500 for a 6.6kW system installed.
18x 370W panels. Jager Plus Risen Monocrystalline.
Solis or Sofar inverters.
This is like half the price of almost every other installer which seems suspicious.

10+ years experience, yet ABN registered in Dec 2017, and only gst registered since 2019.
Those panels or inverter don't sound like Tier 1 companies either.
Have a look at solarquotes.com.au for comparison of panels and inverters
Even if the panels and inverter are good, the installation quality is very important. Don't want someone doing a dodgy job then a year or two later when you notice problems, the company is dissolved.
Ma grandpappy always sed if somethin' sounded too good to be true…
… post it on ozbargain
Probably a scam company just to eat up tax payer provided subsidies given our by our beloved government, only to later "accidentally" go bankrupt after taking the said government subsidies.
No electrical licence number or CEC number on the bottom of the page. Run.
Lol
Installed 6.6kw Canadian panels plus Goodwe inverter, paid $980 in Vic in Feb 21, plus $1850 government loan.

Name checks out
I went with a cheap system in the past…..ended up removing the whole system and putting in a good quality one.
Spend some extra $$$ as it'll be worth it in the long run
Thanks for the tip tight-ass, what happened with your cheap install?
Inverters died twice (Macsolar was the brand) and were a nightmare to fix the first time and couldn't be repaired the 2nd time as the company no longer existed in Oz. Plus the inverters were constantly throwing up fault codes and the system was shutting down all the time, therefore it wasn't generating any power. Also the solar panels weren't producing what they should (suntellite was the brand) and the panels were going cloudy…..ripped out the whole system after only having it for 5 years.
Replaced what we had with Sunpower panels and Fronius inverter back in 2017….not a single issue to date.

Seem to share some of the same city office addresses.
Obviously there are too many good vibes for the one company so they had to create another.
Nah, I would run away.
Check for component reviews on Solarquotes.
Check contract for maintenance clauses for warranty and find out costs.
I know prices are coming down, but this seems cheap…….
I paid $3,300 with Solar Link Australia for a similar sized system and number of panels. With a Solis inverter.
Pretty happy with it so far (been 2 months). A bit of a pain to the all the documentation done post install, but its been done after a bit of chasing.
Sun- mate. Can't go wrong
Go for it and let us know.
