Was checking out if any specials are on for theragun units and found the following:

Theragun mini $279, down from $349. Last posted on forum at $299 from David Jones.

Seems like they may also have some old G3 Theragun units on clearance for $249 as well.

Not sure whether local or AUS stock but it does say 1 year manufacturer warranty, and there’s always ACL if needed.

Lastly, no folks these aren’t vibrators so don’t buy one hoping it’ll replace you or your partner’s hitachi, it’s percussive not vibratory😂

  • I've heard these are pretty weak compared to the headlining products. Seems you'd be better off going for a generic hypervolt knock off on ebay/amazon/aliexpress

I’d really recommend trying them for yourself before passing judgement.
It depends what you’re looking for, I gave a mini a try and was pleasantly surprised. It’s definitely not as powerful as a Theragun Pro/Elite or the Hypervolt but it’s mostly intended as a lightweight one for travelling or throwing in the gym bag.
For other models such as the G3 and other larger units it’s a bit apples to oranges comparison. The hypervolt have faster max actuation, and force but have 14mm of amplitude, whereas the G3 has 16mm which helps work deeper muscles.
At the end of the day, the knockoffs can definitely do the job, but the theraguns definitely feel more solid, have smoother actuation than them, plus you do have an actual warranty if anything goes wrong. Just depends on your priorities :)
