80% is, and i stuffed this up so by tommorow 90% will be
Mines already less than at the end of last month. Looks like I'll miss out my $1.23 of interest this month.
But they have already started the new process so doing that means no bonus interest for next month.
How so
If it is one dollar more than your balance at 28 feb, should be okOP has changed the title… it originally said to drain the account…. this would of meant no interest for April
drain your ING account for the night to be $1 more than your previous month
Don’t you mean top up, credit or increase… drain is debit, decrease.
Depends if your balance is currently above or below this amount. Both apply
My balance last month was $533, currently 50k, so I’m draining it to make it $534
Ah ok, you mean to make sure to adjust +/- so it is just +$1 from last month’s balance?
Yes I adjusted title, but figured people would already have as much as possible in there as best savings rate.
Pay off Zip Feb balance.
$1 or $0.01
Damn, just blew $1k…
I've left my SM account under 100k and left it alone then make 1c transfer at start of each month..plus the usual in and out 1k transfer
What account actually pays interest?
I tried your work around and now my account is stating that I didn't meet the eligible criteria for March to receive bonus interest in April even though all the criteria have green ticks? My balance on 31st March was greater than the balance on 28th Feb, and I added the money back in on the 1st March and removed on 30th March.
I thought I understood the criteria or the bank is not playing nice?yes ING is utter shit, they show you are ineligible even though are and apparently it will fix around lunch
this bank has become complete horse shit last 2-3 years.
Thanks. I've already moved the money to my other account as I don't really trust them to play ball. I think I'll end up in the can't be a$$ed category?
The next criteria will be an increase of average monthly balance. Just watch
If you have green ticks on all the criteria then you should be safe. The main status should change to eligible later today.
This happens every month on the 1st. ING is unable or unwilling to fix this problem and it always causes confusion.
Thanks. I'll check later today before considering sending the money back from my other account to ING?
Yeh they told me it hasn't updated yet. Talk about a shit house UX.
I transferred it to macq bank whilst on the phone to them, I hope they have cash flow problems, I really despise them now.
Yeah! It's fixed now but doesn't leave me with a lot of confidence.
Now to complain about the $50 referral credit that hasn't appeared in my account?
dingdong3000 is right. only has to be 1c to get your rightful interest on your money from this ING scam. must have employed some turds from the big 4 in upper management. the hilarious thing is the way it was presented to their customers. "we asked for it & they listened." what a load of shite!
yeh 100% horse shit they listened.
They listened to some dumb advice. The truth is with all the customers they got thanks to barefoot they probably couldn't care less about the few of us that got pissed off.
what ing accounts are you all talking about?
We need another reminder soon.
so to be exact:last day of the month (in the morning just to be safe) move all but "last month balance+interest+$1" from SM to OE.
first day of the month (in the afternoon just to be safe) move back from OE to SMthats it ? so easy to trick ING… yes losing 1 day interest or maybe 2 days if weekend
Time to play around your savings now guys.
yes i will "reset" mine to $25 by end of april (today) and end of May, and after that, increase slowly by moving back and forth between SM and OE on the last day of the month
lucky have MACQ honeymoon rate 1.35% so will keep it in there for a month
Why isn't your money invested in stonks?
