Nice, good find. Hopefully it does the trick.

The one where it keeps my phone from being on the floor.

    • bought one a couple months ago and it's pretty disappointing but might just be the design of my car's air-vents. Worth a try since they are so cheap though.

    • Been using mine for the past couple of years. Holds the phone well. However, the rubber knobs causes my screen to be unresponsive at times.

Been looking for a phone holder for a while, this looks like it will do. Cheers OP

  • I can't get free shipping for black or grey. Is it just me?

    • Red only from the description

Purchased this item before, the pins (holding the phone) are made of a rubbery material and doesn't seem to be glued onto the unit itself and frequently falls off after a while of use, especially if you have a larger phone along with bumpy Sydney suburban roads. And I've actually lost one of those rubber pins in the car, not being able to find it so just threw the unit away. Just fyi :)

Thanks; have a Galaxy Note, just saved me a couple bucks. Cheers.

I'm having exactly the same experience.

    • Anything a few dots of super glue couldn't fix?

    • Thanks for feedback. I've not used this design before but doesn't seem like anything some superglue can't fix or prevent.

        • It's a reference to the text inexplicably written on the product - see pics

  • Is it the one holder to rule them all?

  • Get the "This is one Pro" instead of the "This is one". https://www.deep-media.pl/pol_pl_This-Is-One-PRO-Uchwyt-Samo…

It's a pretty significantly different holding design and it works really well. You have to be fairly accurate when placing it in to allow the charging port to be accessible through the bottom prongs, but it is very easy to put the phone in and take it out one handed, and the phone doesn't move around while driving.

I had the same experience as kawaii42. I purchased these couple of months back. It was good at the beginning, very sturdy and firm but after 3-4 weeks of use, it started to wobble and now it doesn't sit well. Wouldn't recommend it.

  • I had this, won't last, and will not hold a large phone.

My experiences with these types of phone holders is that the clamping mechanism that holds it on the vent eventually deforms and the entire thing comes flying off when you take a sharp turn. Could just be my bad luck though.

      My bad luck too!

      I agree.
These spring loaded vent clips are not very good

I tried this one and it's not very good. Doesn't hold large phones well. I upgraded to the "gen 2" of this with 6 notches to hold the phone and it works much better. Haven't had issues with them so far. Easy to use single-handed. Very slightly more expensive though:

Guys, magnetic phone holders are the GOAT.
Cheap, reliable, just slap your phone on when you get in the car.
    Many variations out there.

    • Only downside is blocks wireless charging (if you use it)

      • Oh true! Yeah nah haven't had the luxury of running into that problem yet, cable does the job for now.

      • I use my Magsafe charger on a vent mount, works brilliantly holding and charging at the same time!

    • They block wireless charging and also need something stuck on the back of your phone

  • This is one of the best ways to waste $2!!!

  • keep you always high on power

never tried power but wouldn't mind…

  • can we cancel the order or it is more a pain?

    • there should be an option in your orders page to cancel the order. Otherwise just send a message to the shop and they'll probably cancel it for you.

  • Damn paid a bit over $5 for identical one on ebay a few days ago

  • Can the phone be rotated and viewed on its side with this holder?

    • of course not lol.

      • boooo lol
