Too pricey for me to even think about getting this, wouldn't the powder be much better value per serving.

As just a pre-workout the powder can be more efficient/cheaper indeed. However drinking from the can has a different taste/feeling more similar to a soft drink or traditional energy drink which is different from the powder. I can't find anywhere else selling cans cheaper than this at the moment.

    this is a deal? lol

    • The can usually cost $5 at my local store so $3.38 per can sounds like a deal for me

    • Do you know another place that I can buy the can for less than $3.38?

        200mg caffeine pre-work out?
you'd really have to be a true meat head

you'd really have to be a true meat head

          What does that actually mean?

          • @aja12: nah he's just expressing his illusions

          • @aja12: it's a combination of two words, meat and head, combined they make up one word.
i know, it can very tricky, right?

use your life line if in doubt

              Actually, if you want to do this, you never actually combined the the two words to make one, you said;

              meat head

That’s still two words, I think you meant to use the term “meathead”. “Meat head”, as you used, is two words. It’s ok, it can be tricky.

Anyway, let’s ignore all the literature and data on caffeine and it’s effects on athletic performance, and make stupid, baseless comments.

  • I'm not getting free delivery. Its $120

    • @princess_nik_nak It seems to only work with for 2 x Orange Slice flavour in the 16fl oz pack 12. Do you have amazon prime?

  • +1

i did this last month, is great. i got the cotton candy flavour + orange slice flavour, so when u get 2 boxes to qualify for the special u may as well try 2 different flavours. pro-tip :)

    • This time unfortunately seems to only work with the orange slice flavour, hopefully they will add in other flavours back again

Why not just eat an orange? Or drink water?

    • Or take a bus or meditate

    • Why not just blend up soda water, an orange, caffeine powder and god knows what else

    • -2

Hehe I knew I’d get downvoted for that one.

Hey, this is Ozbargain, oranges are $4/kg and water is basically free. It’s a bargain!

(Now that I’m already in trouble): And wrt protein, you get all the protein you need from normal intake of dairy, eggs, nuts etc without the need for protein shakes - even if you spend all day in the gym or are an elite athlete. Dr. Karl talks about it all the time and he’s a doctor.

  • just wondering, who buys these? dont normal gym gowers just go for the normal whey protein shake?

    • These are for energy and the beta alanine in them may help increase the total number of reps/endurance and give a slight buzz/tingling sensation. Protein shake is for muscle recovery, different things for different times.
