Yeah but it's considerably more expensive.
What about the LG models? Any good?
Well, whatever phone you get, if it's an amoled/oled, breaking the screen will practically make it not worthwhile to pay $$$ to get it fixed…
A very informative and considered reply - doesn't help much!
An important thing you should consider is LG’s support. I have an LG V30+ and after a year a half the main camera failed. LG support gave me the runaround and said it would need to be sent to their approved repairer. I had to fight just to get a prepaid postage bag as I argued that any phone under warranty should not accrue any out of pocket expenses!
From my experience I would never buy an LG phone ever again! The turnaround for repair was very quick mind you but the overall experience was certainly not to the standard I expected!
Well changing the camera should be very quick. Basically half an hour or less.
Yep, pretty easy repair…the most difficult part would be opening the phone but no problems for the pro’s as they have the correct heating elements to melt the glue.
a hair dryer and thin metal sheet works fine!
Xperia 5 no, Xperia 5 ii yes
