I wandered into Harvey Norman Sydney CBD today and came across a few decent buys:
2gb Verbatim SD cards @ $3 each
32gb Verbatim USB 2.0 memory sticks @ $36 each
Verbatim Tune Board keyboard @ $24 each
The 2gb SD cards are handy for devices that don't support SDHC - like Wii consoles…

The memory sticks seemed OK, but I didn't buy one because I'd prefer USB 3.0 in the high capacities.
Verbatim Tune Board isn't the prettiest keyboard you've seen - its very large and has built-in speakers + backlighting. I needed a cheap backlit keyboard so I got it… I've seen this mentioned in the forums but not posted as a deal…
I don't mean to put you down or anything like that,
USB 3.0 32GB (for the same price) is better but sadly ended only a few days ago.

This is likely to show that prices will be going down. Just have to wait and hope nothing really bad happens to the world (example of Thai Floods & rising HDD prices).
Nonetheless, $3 for a 2GB SD looks good. You won't really save a significant amount after this price.
