Fake news, “Hong Kong Free Press” is no longer a “free press” since laws were changed.

      • -2

        That's not the point.

        • -6

The article is from yesterday, so not trustworthy…

            • -2

              @Turd: Thanks.

In unrelated news, it’s time for the UK to take back Hong Kong.

              • @[Deactivated]: Why? CCP own HK. Nothing will change.

                Everyone is scared of them

                • -1

@Turd: Because the people of HK want their freedoms back.

Everyone knows WWIII will involve China, so let’s get to it.

                  • @[Deactivated]: What freedoms? I keep hearing the freedom line but don't understand what exactly they're asking for.

                  • @[Deactivated]:

Everyone knows WWIII will involve China, so let’s get to it.

good lord please don't invoke wwiii out loud

it feels like you're releasing a kraken

              • @[Deactivated]: Can UK afford a war? What century are you living in?

                • @Freeskater: the idiot century where the country observing the least number of un resolutions complains about those following more un resolutions.

  • +5

    That's a purse…

    • +9

      It's European!

    • +4

It's a satchel. Indiana Jones wears one.

  • +1

So HUGO BOSS is telling the western media they they won't use Xinjiang cotton but telling the chinese media that they are using Xinjiang cotton??

It should be remembered that HUGO BOSS made uniforms for the nazi's & Adolf Hitler.

    • +4

Yeah and Mercedes and BMW made vehicles for them too (and VW was created by the Nazi’s). What’s your point?

      • -1

        just stating a fact.

I have read that ASICS, MUJI & FILA will continue to use Xinjiang cotton.

        • No worries.

        • -1

its not a fact, its yank propaganda. the yanks trot out garbage whilst sterilising women in america without their knowledge.

if the media stopped publishing lies then things would be different but it publishes anything for money so people get fed garbage.

      • +1

Hugo Boss was a member of the Nazi party before Hitler.

    • So BMW and every other German businesses.

    • +2

It should be remembered that HUGO BOSS made uniforms for the nazi's & Adolf Hitler.

And Mitsubishi made Zeros, along with a whole lot of other major Japanese corporations contributing to the WW II war machines. Come on, you can’t keep judging the current generation for something their forefathers did 75 years ago. And Hugo Boss is not the only western company back-pedalling to keep their business going in China.

    • +4

It should be remembered that HUGO BOSS made uniforms for the nazi's & Adolf Hitler.

      Time to move on.

    • -2

Expect Kellogs would have made breakfast cereal that the Nazis ate. And serial (cereal) killers eat breakfast too! Let's all boycott Kellogs.

    • +1

      Snappy dressers.

    • Fanta was created so Coca Cola could sell to the Germans

    • Slippery slope there snowflake… Don't forget the Allies such as the USA took onboard quite a number of German scientists to continue with their experiments etc in Operation Paperclip

      https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Paperclip

      • +1

        Loved that operation.

Now I can easily attach pieces of paper together, without resorting to a stapler.

        • add that to their eugenics programme as an idea for a modification

    • It should be remembered that HUGO BOSS made uniforms for the nazi's & Adolf Hitler.

for the SS, SA and HJ (Hitler Youth). as well as several others

that's why they all looked so stylish while they were commiting genocide.

(there is also a rumour that he was Hitlers personal taylor at some point but it's unsubstantiated)

  • Thanks OP purchased one, only just realised it's not really my style, man purses not really my thing, but a bargain none the less ! Perhaps I can call it a satchel …

  • +1

    Boycott

  • -8

To those outraged at xinjiang cotton usage… how many of you buy pre-peeled/chopped/minced garlic? Most of it comes from Chinese prison slave labour, and they all use their mouths to peel the garlic because otherwise it makes their hands bleed…

  • +10

Just a thought but some of these comments sound more suited to OZACTIVIST rather than OZBARGAIN …

    • -2

more like oz neofascists unite… the base and all the rest - all feeding on america's war on china

  • +2

Slave labour or not, bargain is a bargain

    • A good bargain is not necessarily a good deal.

      • +2

        Luckily this is just Ozbargain

        • -1

Where bargains are presented and judged as deals.

      • Semantics

    • +1

      You will pay dearly after.

      • +2

How so? I already bought it

  • +3

Thanks, finally something replace my Lacoste one when I hang out at train stations.

  • oos?

  • That's not an envelope!

  • Let’s support made in China like millions Australians do everyday.

  • +3

Aren't these called a Murse? (Man purse)

  • Ommmmmmgod

  • here is the truth about xinjiang cotton,
