Have been looking for a deal on this, but seems the cheapest at the moment is around the $830 mark. This is significantly lower (even if not the lowest ever).

BlackVue's premium webcam with 4k/30fps support, and also the 2CH edition so you can have rear recording too.

seems it even comes from dash cams australia

  • edit: nevermind

  • Nice deal. Been looking to replace my single ch blackvue. Shame blackvue can’t make a system that you can just add additional channels. But still great dash cams.

Best to wait for Easter sales 25-30% of maybe like previous prices?

  • Got the 900s and magic or. Not sure if worth it to upgrade.

I have just seen the review. Too much compression of the video which defeats the purpose of 4k. It cannot read the number plate clearly. I will give this a miss. Nice small design though.

  • So what's the next best alternative to this? Been looking for one for my new car.

  • These are really good.! I bought this couple of months ago from Autobarn for $400 when they were on clearance. Totally worth the money.

    • I noticed the autobarn sale, i think the 400+ ones were the 750 series?

      • Agree those were 750x

        • No , i have got DR900-2CH-64 4K UHD 2CH WIFI GPS DASH CAM 64GB from autobarn .. paid $399.49 to be precise.

          • @mkhilawala: I reckon that's an older model. They offered heavy discounts when nexer X series dashcams were announced.

          • @mkhilawala: Maybe it was the older 'S' model without the LTE function. ie. DR900S-2CH

Tempting.. But I have been eyeing the DR750X-2CH. Repco has 30% off sometimes, so hoping they bring back that sale during easter.

Fingers crossed. I am waiting for the same one.

    • I'm waiting for it too.

  • I paid $479.40 at Repco on 28.08.20 so not lowest.

    • That’s the 900S, the old model.

  • If you are in Sydney then Bankstown Sound and Marine have the 750x 2 channel currently for $629 with free installation.

    • 750X or 900X ?

      • Plenty of reviews online mention the 750X provides better quality footage at night against the 900X and daytime footage is very similar.

  • I really want a 3 channel. Forward, rearward and inside vehicle. Does anyone make that?

  • Can anyone tell me roughly how much repco would charge to install this on my car for me? If they even do that service?

    • Autobarn Clayton Vic charged me $180 if that helps

      • Yep it does:)

Ordered as couldn't wait for another Repco sale. Maybe the last one at the price.

Was followed out of the gym car park last night and tailgated for a while before the car cut in front of me, went to my left, dropped back and then u-turned. Before it u-turned it flashed. I was well in front by then. My mates think it was signalling someone further up the road to not bother with me.
II had the Viofo A119V2 mounted front and back. It was already dark and night footage was reasonable but not clear enough to see the licensed plate. Couldn't see the driver either.

I'll be mounting the 4k camera on the back though. This is the 2nd time I've been tailed, although the last time was 4 years ago. Again an older Viofo and couldn't see crap except the headlights.
