  • Prefer buying the LAOPAO Soap Dispenser

  • Bought two in the past from MM.

While I really like the product when it works, it seems one has developed an issue with what I think are the contact points for the batteries.

If I unscrew the top half of the unit to refill it, it stops working and I have figured out I need to turn it upside down and tap it, which I think makes the batteries press back on to the contact points. Once it starts working again and I flip it back upright and screw it on to the soap bottle, it stops working again.

It takes a good 5-10 minutes of repeating this and trying to turn it upright super gently before I can get it working and then I try not to knock it until the next time I have to refill it.

Wonder if this is a common issue that others have experienced.

    • I had the same issue.

I have 2 of these, never had this issue.

I may be having a similar issue.
My one randomly stops working. Basically, the sensor does work when I place my hand and I see the light going white (which means that its activated ) but motor does not activate and no soap comes out. At this point, I usually have to unscrew the top half, readjust the batteries and it starts working.

    • i have one, and i've refilled the bottle once, so far so good,i bought in june last year and still using the original batteries that come with the package.

    • I have two and don't have this issue.

    • Yes I have two and one started developing this issue.

Ive been using the Febhbrq (yeah not sure what kinda name is that) for the past month and its great, cheaper as well. Also works with a micro usb if you dont wanna bother with batteries.

Thanks. Ordered one to see how it goes. Reviews are good. It will go nicely with my Covfefe.

  • Love the product.

I found the Xiaowei X5s from Banggood is much better for the same price. Large battery, usb-C, wall hanger.
Got one and going to get another one.

  • Are the 3 pack of refill bottles the new refillable design?
