This is more expensive than last weekend's 'Together Again' sale. It is probably also more expensive than next weekend's half price government funded sale.
$240 return ADL>Perth is still decent.
Is no-one else a little reluctant to book flights?
We still have the risk of COVID outbreaks from incoming flights, ships, hotel and non-hotel quarantine, etc., and until there is at least a reasonably high level of vaccination, there is still a risk that state borders could close again.
I'm still amazed how hotel pricing and rental car pricing hasn't come down.
What's the incentive to fly interstate when nothing's actually cheaper but everything is riskier.
yep, and especially who would fly to WA when they close their borders within 6 hours after 1 case ………………………
And that is why WA is performing the best in the country for Covid-19 response
Last few shutdowns were all caused by hotel quarentine workers getting it. However these people were the first to get the vaccine.
Having said that, there is no 100% effective vaccine. Risk is there still . But much lowered. If there is a snap lockdown (unlikely) it will be short like 5 days not months like before.
After WA implemented a 14 day back date on covid isolation, my brother has to fly back the next day from what was meant to be their holiday for the year.
I don't think I'll be going to wa for a long time
