Yeah, the $70 free credit are much better value.
It is small portion and rubbish, only 250g meat for 2 people. Becomes not so fresh after a few days in refrigerator.
We freeze the meat when it arrives then put it out on the kitchen bench in the morning.
How does that make the tiny portions bigger?
These are meals for 1 person, make no mistake
Sorry, I was addressing the second point about the freshness.
Leaving meat out, unrefrigerated, for more than four hours is a really bad idea.

Food held between 5°C and 60°C for 4 hours or more must be thrown away.
Huh? My family of 3 (1 small child) is easily fed with leftovers on most meals. If we ordered 7 meals a week we physically would not be able to eat it all
(have been using hellofresh for 3 years)
I find the serving from all the Hello Fresh recipes I have tried so far fairly tasty and filling. They are usually a combination of meat and veg.
It depends on how much you normally eat in a single meal. For comparison, I usually have 3-4 slices of a large Pizza Hut or 3-4 pieces from a 9 for $9.99 KFC bucket.
I kept everything including the meat in the fridge and they are still alright up to 2 weeks. The veg would have stay fresher longer in the veg compartment. On the otherhand, I usually pickup my delivery box and unpack it right away within 15-30 minutes of the delivery being drop off.
I've had no issues with the kits for either 2 or 4 people. I've even had 6 serves of food from the 4 people kits.
I get deliveries on Saturday (first batch) and food/meat stays in the fridge for up to 10 days without any issues..
Just be aware when enter a voucher from them that your credits that you earned from those referrals won't apply to the the upcoming deliveries.
