No Contract Mobile Plans - 100GB for $30/Month, 50GB for $22/Month for First 12 Months @ Circle.life

82

Just ported over to these guys. Great deals. They use the Optus network. Discount in price/extra data is only for first 12 months, so perhaps set a reminder if you want to shop around in a years time. No contract period either.

The 100GB plan is just a 12 month price cut, where as the 50GB is a price cut of their 20GB plan + additional 30GB per month. So keep in mind that after a year, the 50GB will drop down to 20GB. The 100GB should stay at 100GB, however the price will go up. There is also 8GB for $14 a month. Good for your parents who probably never use their data.

Both referrer and referee get $5 bill credit for 6 months and bonus 5 GB for 6 months.

Shouldn't this company be banned from here? Wait for all the negative responses.

    • +6

      They are scammers

      • could you elaborate? I had a brief look on whirlpool and didn't see anything negative really, however not a whole lot of discussion on there to go on though.

They keep billing you after you removed the card from the system and asked to disconnect

I think it depends how you're using these guys. I used it as a standalone data Sim and found them good. Most of the negative experiences I have seen have been around porting your number in or out. Might want to stick with something more reliable if it's your primary number you don't want to lose.

    • Have they lost people's numbers? That's troubling. Mine and my wife's ports took about 30mins yesterday without trouble.

      • +1

Porting in is fine. But good luck porting out.

        • ooft. hope they sort that out in 12 months time if I decide to change providers.

PS love the name. am guessing you come from a land… far away??

      • 30 minutes to port-in? Incredible! You're right about that! Please note that mobile numbers cannot be lost unless it will be terminated. With the no-contract policy of Circles.Life, you can always request to port your number to a new provider. • I moved over to these guys in December. 60GB for $22/month

    No issues whatsoever.

    • Hello! Reading this feedback makes us feel that we have achieved our mission/goal! Thanks heaps - it's much appreciated!

  • Previously with these guys. Ported in with no issues, ported out with no issues. All within usual time frames.

    • Hey, we really appreciate you taking the time to express that. Thanks a million!

OP, I don't think you're allowed to send private messages asking people to use your referral code. Mod has removed it from the post because people are supposed to use the randomised one so it's fair for everyone and not an incentive to post deals to get a referral.

    • I think the reason companies offer referrals, is so people share their deals. I don't think it's against their T&Cs for customers to share their referral code when sharing their deals with others. In fact, I'd say that's the purpose of it.
In saying that, I was not aware of the randomized referral system here. I have just added my code to it. Thanks for the heads up.

It's not so much whether it's a company rule, it's an Ozbargain rule I think.

  • I signed up in July last year with the HEYTHERE2020 promo code.

    I pay $28 a month for 100Gb. ($10 discount off $38 plan for 12 months)

The only issue I had was signing up with an apostrophe in my name.

There is no number sharing if you want to use cellular with your Apple Watch.

Terrible experience with terrible company as many others have said here in the past.

Can strongly recommend Felix for 5 bucks a month more though (for unlimited), I been using it as home internet for a couple weeks now, killed my Telstra 90 buck internet for it and no regrets. Hits it's quoted 20 megs on 2 or 3 devices at a time with no slow down, love it

    • If you don't mind, can you please share your experience with me?

      1. Do you use a phone to tether or a sim modem? if modem, what do you use?
      2. Are you saying 20 mbps is hit on 2-3 devices concurrently? Not total?
      3. How much downloads have you done? they mention "fair use" policy that after reading sounds like they can slow down or cancel your at any time due to any reason.

      Thank you.

        1. Just my phone, Umidigi A7, got it cheap, then got it completely refunded (long story, actually got paid to take the phone) and I couldn't be bothered buying a modem bc I wanted the SIM in my phone bc I use it for real calls and stuff, but like, I figure it's not worth bothering to swap the SIM between phones to preserve it's battery health, the level it would degrade over a couple years of use would be 1. more than fine for me but 2. not enough to worry about. Like I figure by that time, I could just as easily buy a new one of these phones, it was just over a hundred anyway, so sod buying a modem and dealing with swapping the card in and out of the phone. In short, I use my phone, but it's not a super fancy pants phone, you could in theory get better performance from a better phone or modem.

        2. I don't really measure speeds, the only way I have to go off is the Xbox's thing that says how fast it's downloading (which pretty consistently hits the 20 mark, 18/19etc.) and I did a few Ooklas when I joined them. But yeah, they all stay around that ballpark. My usual getup when I've been home has been Disney+ on the tele via Xbox, whatever their highest stream quality is (My Name is Earl on the background lately, so probs not 4K), whatever I'm doing on my Chromebook (which is all over the net, perfectly fine speed), and yeah. No lag, video loads fine and pretty well instant on the tele, computer trods along fine, etc.

        3. Here's my download thing, but bear in mind that I've been out of the house a LOT the last couple weeks, working, going to court, at the missus, out in general, I've probably been home maybe, maaaaybe 40% of the time so the number would be a lot higher but here, no problems or caps here for me. https://i.postimg.cc/RSnhrFW7/163649930-229112102244475-2947…

        • Awesome, thanks mate, I should give them a go then!

          • @fufufu: Here bud, did another speed test a minute ago and thought of this post, also gone well over 250gb now after downloading the Watch Dogs 3 trial (around 40 odd gig) and upgrading Tony Hawk 1+2 to the X|S version (around 21gb, so 5 less than the old one, though if you're thinking of this, don't bother, it's not worth it at all unless you have a 120FPS capable tele, suppose if you're on the Series S it might be worth it since they play the standard Xbox One version where the Series X plays the One X ver-know what, that's not what this comment was about) This is from my laptop via hotspot, while the Xbox is downloading a patch for Forza.

            • @TheDukeOfNukem: Thanks mate. Might look in to getting a phone to just be full time hotspot. I feel they can easily detect if you put this in a modem?

  • Been using Circles for 3-4 months now, with a few minor issues for which they added some free data to my account.
Just used it for data mostly, tethered via usb.
I hopping that there is no issues when closing my account at end of this month, as I cant afford paying anything more than $15 per month now.

Not sure how I missed Felix as a provider, how new are they?
Might give them a try, just need to decide to port over or get a new # from them, many issues with porting with Circles thou.
No negs on their deal yet, seems worth it.

Does Felix offer a choice of numbers when signing up?
