Can anyone recommend a good electric shaver that doesn't carve up your face? Thanks!

I've been using the Panasonic ES-LA93-K for around 2 years and find it very good. It takes around 3 weeks for your skin do adapt to it, but once you pass this period it's hard to go back to the blade (I used Mach 3 previously).
I bought it from Amazon for around $190 plus shipping via Hop Shop Go, as Amazon does not ship it to outside US. I think the RRP in Oz is around $450 which is a steal.

I might look into this one, thanks! Why do you find it hard to go back to the Mach 3 after using the electric - is it all about convenience?
(Edit: also found on eBay for a little less, http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Panasonic-ES-LA93-K-Mens-Wet-Dry-…)
In my experience, all of them carve my face to some extent (as do razors)… Simply, it's unnatural to slice hair at the skin surface daily!
I have the top end Braun (from a few years back) and use shaving oil to help lubricate and minimise razor burn.
Supposedly the Foil type electric (Braun/Panasonic) is less prone to razor burn than the rotary style (Philips).
