      Deal starts at 6pm tonight

      • Ahh ok thanks so much I missed that. My bad.

      • One more question for you. Which Version is best to choose for Australian users? China / France or Spain?

        • +4

That's where it delivers from! So, you pick China…

          • @Droz: it does not have shipping to Australia from Spain or France..

      • That sydney time?

        • Start time is in the OP

Note The deal starts Thursday 01/04 at 6:00pm AEDT.

        • Yes. 6pm AEDT

  • +3

All the China stock for all the colors are already gone! :/

Unless they add a bulk lot of stock right before the flash sale starts it's not gonna be much of a sale is there.

Edit: Some stock is back, but ppl are still snapping them up at the inflated price. Guess they aren't tech savvy & think it's a good deal? ¯_(ツ)_/¯

    • Yeah, sale has ended without starting :-(

    • :(

I can only pray this OOS fiasco is some sick April's fool joke at this point

    • +1

They just added ~27,000 stock. We'll see how long it lasts.

      • That's reassuring . guess I don't have to rush checkout at 6pm on the dot then.

      • The 6GB + 128GB OOS already.
        World vs AliE: DDOS.

      • Yep, ordered mine.. 249$US + taxes + delivery - coupon = AU$ 373.41

  • +1

    Purchased for $298 aud :)

    • -1

      Not 288…?

      • Nah! It's a rough estimate the $288… I checked both before commiting. It adds tax, shipping, etc..

      • +2

got one using 28 degrees mastercard currency conversion totaling $288.50

        • Oh I must be wrong. I've seen people saying paypal fee etc. Idm tbh, the website is suspect enough, at least paypal ecrypts and assures etc.

    • +1

      same

    • +1

      wow perfect for tax return

    • +1

dammit, tried to do USD on 28 degrees card but f'd up and copped paypal's xrate, so 303 for me :(
      oh well, only 5 bux

  • paid an $11 conversion with paypal, but happy to have got a transaction through. 273.90usd for the 8gb

  • i bought the 8gb + 256 gb for $376.07 AUD, don't know anything about this phone but take the gamble at this price for a 120hz display

    • I bought this one as well. Wanted the 6gb version for my Dad's Birthday but none left. Spent the extra and now want the gift to be mine!

I have the Poco X3 standard model. Very happy with it as a phone. I don't do much photography but for everything else at that price point it is a beast. Never ran out of battery on me even with ultra heavy use it gets me a whole day. UI is great etc.

I don't think you will be disappointed.

      • I have an old samsung s8+ so i presume the camera is still an upgrade for a new gen style phone? Until i can get lucky with an oppo find x2 pro on sale or something else?

    • Should be able to get it down to $347.89AUD after CR. Better not to risk missing out, by just settling on $376.07 not enough time to go through the hoops. Almost gone…

  • +1

these are selling so fast (at least the black 6gb+128gb).. every second I refresh and it drops by 200 units.. insane..

    • +3

these are selling so fast (at least the black 6gb+128gb).. every second I refresh and it drops by 200 units.. insane.. loco

      Fixed it for you ;)

    • Might be scalpers using bots.

  • had to refresh at the checkout page for a while

  • +1

    Couldn't get a 6/128, so got a 8/256 instead. US$273 with 28 Degrees.

    • they are re-adding stock for 6/128gb every few mins, saw it go back in stock a few times

      • Same here. Saw it go back in stock but I've decided to keep the 8/256 anyway.

        • Why does everyone want 6/128 though? Isnt the 70 bucks extra worth it for an extra 128 gb inbuilt and 2gb ram?? Both can just add an external sd card yeah??

Just doesnt have a aux port or aus charger plug head?

          • @SaberX: Because it's cheaper? Most people wouldn't need the extra 2GB RAM and 128GB Storage, especially with SD Card expansion.

  • Paid $298.53, got $12.68 back from CashRewards so it ended up as $285.85.

    • i thought using promo code is not eligible for cashback.. but hope they pay you though

      • I thought so too. They'll probably deny it soon.

  • I have a p30 would this be a upgrade or downgrade if I switched to the poco?

    • definitely downgrade for camera and is LCD, is p30 AMOLED?

  • Are these dual sim active - not interested in standby (looking to put my personal and work sims in the one phone)

  • +1

LOL Got the Rose Gold one right on the dot !!! and the VOUCHER is installed BUT it lists as $600+

  • The 6gb keeps coming up at $596 when it's in stock and I manage to add it to the card.. anyone else has this problem?

    • I was getting the same thing. Doesn't do it with the 8G/256G variant (but those are too rich for my blood).

    • I think that's because they reach the limit number of the "on sale" ones

      • Tis is perfection timing

        Date Received
        AU AU$ 626.51 AU AU$ 626.51 CreditCard 2021-04-01 00:00

        • Yeah, have to be careful choosing to go through checkout when there are only 1/2units left as someone else might be finishing up checking out at the time you start. By then the stock is gone & you get charged the default max price it reverts to in the system. Too risky doing it with CC IMHO unless you skip CR entirely & quickly put in code + use PP (in app). That's the only safety net you have to avoid being overcharged AFAIK.

    • HOW can it be??? what does add it to the card mean???

The sale is from 1-2 April

      • +1

        I meant "cart"

        • Well contacted POCO so see what they say, BUT aint paying $650+ when got the F3 for 200 less

    • I gave up and bought the 8gb one.

  • +1

    Got a 8gb. Shame, I wanted the 6gb =/

  • bought the black but now think the blue looks better :( the black one looks a bit purple . anyways put a case on..

  • +1

Wasn't looking for a mobile but pulled the trigger on 8GB version

    • Ouch!!! impulse buying leads to buyers remorse :P

      • I have Xiaomi Mi Mix3 5g version so hope I didn't downgrade lol

        • Should have gone for the F3, this chuncky one is a gamer but it aint pretty

          Mi Mix 3 sounds AMOLED

    • same, everything looks quite good except not 5g

  • +2

Do check you bank transaction. I checked out as 298 but order was placed for 625.
    Just cancelled my order.

    • yeah me too, but i have the rose gold one so waiting on them to reply first

  • Decided to get the 8GB one… finally had enough of my Nokia 7+ with its constant screen freezing and putting up with trying to charge the phone at an angle with the loose USB-C port

  • +1

Waaay to glitchy. Just fudged the deal. Not worth the hassle.

  • Just bought one, hope NFC works on Australia

    • Should be standard NFC so will work universally. Only the Xiaomi Mi watches are region locked to only work with AliPay.

  • Their delivery option says that dhl will take 36 days..
What you guys choose for delivery method?

  • Selected payment through PayPal, got a payment pending notification:
"PaymentRegulations require us to take a closer look at some transactions. Your payment is pending while we review it."

Does this mean my order is locked in or that I'm going to miss out on this deal now, thanks to PayPal?

    • +1

      Is your PP acc. verified?

      • I'm not sure how to check that. A quick Google search shows verification needs linking bank account and credit card, which I've done and used months ago. I can't see my verified status anywhere on PayPal.

        • +1

I'm not sure how to check either nowadays cause I did mine over 15yrs ago.

Only other reason I can think of is they do the '$1 withdrawal check' the first time you buy from them. Many business do the same here in AU to ensure it's a real acc.

  • Water & splash resistant even though they are not certified?

  • Bought 8gb Bronze, price showed correct in statement. Thanks OP!

    • Got the bronze too for a final price of $376.09

  • Thanks OP. I grabbed the 8gb.

  • How different is Android 11 MIUI 12 from Android One's super clean UI? I am very used to Android One UI now for my last two phones, hence checking. Can't go back to any other UI.

    • +1

Not very different. There are some MUI apps installed but I just don't use them. Reloaded the apps I had from the Google cloud from my Android One phone to the Poco X3 and have not had any issues or problems.

In fact I like the small changes Mui 12 has over the old Android One.

  • The 256/8, with coupon, is $373AUD. Is that a good price? Still shopping for my daughter. I don't see much locally in that range with those specs…

    • Did you use 30X3PRO? $263usd including gst

      • how are you getting that price?
Mine comes up 269USD plus 23.90USD tax

        • +1

Use the 30X3PRO code. This will take $30usd off the price

          • @cheapbloke: Champion!

I cancelled the order and placed fresh order using this coupon

            8GB version for $356.

It's shame 6GB is not available otherwise it would have brought down the price to $248.

          • @cheapbloke: Yep I am using it.

            • @petrichor: Oh right I am looking at the wrong 'total'. What a bad interface.

  • How would the camera on this compare to getting say one of the samsung a series line for older parents. And processor?

Thinking samaung a31 for them which is about 320 compared to this. Tried to convince a poco but they seem stuck up on going samsung for reliability and avoiding china based off the huawei ban related concerns….. cant convince oldies!

  • tracking shows mine was receipted by Australia Post yesterday…. not long to go now!

    • Same for me, it show "accepted by last mile carrier”

      Assumes that is Australia Post?

      • What did you guys pay for the 6GB/128GB version??

      • It's arrived! Unboxing party tonight!
