I refinanced with St George ($4k cashback) at the beginning of February and am still waiting to receive the cashback 46 days later. I understand it does say it can take up to 60 days but my last refinance a couple of years ago, the cashback came through only two weeks later.
Just wondering how long people have waited to receive their home loan cashbacks recently with St George and with other banks.

How long after getting the cashback can you change lenders? Do they claw it back?
They're always for fixed rates so need to pay the break cost.

I applied for the St George refinance in November and it still hasn't gone through.
Previous refinance also similarly took around 4-6 months to be processed. It's painful.
My application took about 3 months from start to settlement. They always come back with obvious and simple questions but then it takes them a week to reply back every time you answer them. So frustrating.
My experience with St George was around 2 months (late 2019) but only after I followed up the person that assisted with my loan application
Just recently settled with St George on 9th March, and received the $4k cashback on the 19th.
Im likely the lucky customer, only took 10 days to receive the cashback.
Wow, that's kinda annoying for me! That's about how long it took for my last mortgage too so that's what I was expecting.
Make sure you have your loan repayments set up to come out of a St George account, otherwise it's a no-go..
Funny you'd say that. I changed my repayment account a week after I settled and only just realised on Thursday that one of the conditions is to have the repayments from your StG account. So I called up and had it changed back and he said the cashback should still come through but I'm a little worried that it still hasn't done it.
It took 90 days for us, with NAB, but back in mid 2020. They said up to 90 days in the confirmation email and it took exactly 90 days.
