3D glasses for D550 Samsung TV

Got my myself a 2011 Series 5 Sammy plasma, which came with one set of the glasses, SSG-3100GB

Doing some Googling looks like the SSG-3050GB will work OK but the aren't mentioned in many places - can anyone confirm?
