I’ve seen ads around for a new British streaming service available in Aus called Britbox. Has anyone tried it? Without signing up, its hard too see how big their catalogue is and if its worth the monthly cost?

I was just talking to my (Irish) mum about moving her from $55/month foxtel for UKTV onto streaming BBC/iTV/Channel 4 via a VPN. All she watches is soapies (Emmerdale/Eastenders) which britbox has covered. Now to find a cheap NBN plan.
I don't think it is worth the cost.
We use Nord VPN to get 'BBC iPlayer', 'ITV Player', & 'All 4' for free.
