Dont think so. Mine is not valid when Im delivering to a US address.
We send gifts worldwide with prime. You have to order from that countries amazon. Which you can change temporarily in your account settings on the app.

I can confirm this is true. I have used a country specific Amazon to order amazon prime items to an address in that country using my Amazon AU credentials.
I think it’s different prime. The US definitely is different.
What you could do is just make a new Amazon account and do a prime NZ trial for the time you are there. If you’ve moved, probably best to contact Amazon and see if they can transfer your account to NZ.
You don't transfer account. You use the same login on all Amazon country sites. But the order history, Prime membership, are different on each site.
And yes, you can take advantage of a free Prime trial on a different country's Amazon site.

Since they 'updated' the app a couple of weeks back we get adspam just before every show we want to watch.Amazon Prime membership does not transfer to another country's Amazon site.
So Prime will continue to work on the country's site in which you have membership.
Im in NZ now and yes Aussie Prime does work here. It is slightly different though.
Try change your address to NZ and find out ?
