    Get Tojiro it’s much better, better handle, better steel. For beginner you’ll only need a 21cm chef knife and one paring 12 or 15cm. A bread knife if you cut a lot whole loaves of bread, otherwise just get the rounded serrated paring from victorinox.
    Source: I have ikasu, tojiro, victorinox, and many other Jap knives.

  Great set, had mine for around 10 years or so..

  Still have all my 10 digits too lol

  Been a few close shaves over the years, these knives are razor sharp!

  Great knives, but realistically all most people will use is the 20cm chefs knife & 11cm utility knife. Maybe the 'Vegetable' knife. Don't need to spend much on a decent bread knife.

  2 good knifes, couple of kiwi knives and a bread knife is enough for most people.
