Historically, there is usually a few beer offers listed around this time of year to celebrate all things Irish and St. Patrick's Day.
This is when I usually stock up on my supply of Guinness and Kilkenny slabs for the winter months.
However this year there doesn't seem to be any offers around with many of the usual suppliers still selling at their usual RRP prices.
For the past few years I have managed to get these around the $50 to $55 a slab.
I am wondering if this is because of Covid and the limitation placed on imported deliveries?
I may have to go cold turkey if the prices remain as high as they are….
Supply and demand? Demand is high, so why discount?
