Saw that they were open box. Could have been brand new and unused for all I know but $60 extra for the peace of mind, the original packaging and the choice of a colour other than white? Each to their own really.
Saw that they were open box.
But not activated, with full apple warranty.
Yes but still open box. They are cheaper for a reason. It's not some loophole that we stumbled upon.
Yes but still open box.
You going to have to take it out of the box eventually, even if you buy from OW or BigW.
The apple warranty commences from when you activate it…
@jv: Blah ruins the open box experience that Apple employs people to design
@BargainSnatcher: The come in a phonebot box.
@jv: Sorry, I did not mean in a literal sense. Obviously if they are unused, and you get the full warranty they are basically an as new product. However they are cheaper due to the stigma attached to an open box product.
Most people who are spending $600 on a watch (comfortably) will spend the extra for new.
Those who are not comfortably parting with that cash will look for used.
Open box / refurbished is an in between medium I guess for someone who doesn't want used but doesn't want to pay for new.
You going to have to take it out of the box eventually
Never heard anyone say that before, but lol it's kinda tru tho. But yea, it's fun to open the box for the first time tho
Or using Shopback 5% cashback rate. Same price as OW.
ROFL, good luck with getting even 0% at ShopBack. Claim DENIED.
Thanks a lot for this. I was in split mind, your suggestion helped. Got from OW.
Welcome. Seems I got some haters negging all my comments cos they got bent out of shape from another scam lol.
@JoeyJoeJoe: Take it easy mate. Have a nice evening!
I assume this one is non LTE?
Correct - GPS only
I find LTE overrated.
I always have my phone near me when wearing the watch … and I can’t stream my music via LTE like I want (I want to use YouTube music)
Agreed, except certain finishes are available only as lte so gotta pony up.
Personally I think the SE model with 4G at $499 has more utility value… unless you have your heart set on battery draining always on and soon to come ECG
Ecg and EKG… I want but…
I am no expert on this topic. I heard the blood oxygen and ecg on smart watch does not run very well. To do it property you are better to buy a dedicated device.
ECG is EKG simply USA vs UK naming conventions.
I agree, I am super keen on this feature.
But no Always on display on SE :(
horses for courses. I personally have very little use for the cellular version of the watch. not to mention you'r epayin gmore to buy the cellular version, and then paying more forever to your carrier.
battery draining always on

I endorse this deal.
Maybe if this was a deal for a 44mm S6 model you wouldn't be negged.
Waiting for 44mm to go on sale.
Currently using a Series 3 42mm, hard to justify the upgrade.
Thanks bought one from ow
Btw do we need screen protector for the watch ?thanks
Was going to get an Nike SE but decided on the Nike series 6 cellular prior to Christmas last year. Couldn’t be happier with it. I had a series 2 GPS prior and the upgrade with addition of always on, cellular (for calls and streaming music when running) and blood oxygen are well worth in my opinion (plus 3 free months of Apple fitness is a bonus extra). However if you don’t use those features, I’d suggest go the SE
did you buy screen protector for your watch?
All I can say is…I totally should have, just couldn't find a good one in time. Already scratched and I'm really careful with it. Don't even know how
Ta
OW already price matched! was going to call OW to price beat earlier …
You have to be quick with O/W price matches if you see big stores like Big W, TGG lowering their prices.
I saw these advertised by Phonebot for $499 the other day.
