The Sunbeam FoodSaver controlled vacuum sealer keeps your food fresher for longer. It's made from stainless steel with an on-board roll storage and in-lid cutter. A 28cm roll, five pre-cut bags, five zipper bags and an accessory hose are included to help you start storing and marinating your food.
I have one of these which I upgraded to from a cheap model which used to really struggle when doing a batch of food. This one goes great and I'm more than happy to recommend. I paid $212 on Amazon last July.
Kmart one is fine, save yourself $100
Aldi Ambiano does the job for $50. Was in their special buys about a fortnight ago, might still be in some stores.
I've got an old Sunbeam FoodSaver one - VS4300. Doesn't look like it's around anymore. No real complaints with it apart from it struggling sometimes if what you had in it was wet. You also had to put a heap of pressure on it to seal, whereas the newer ones don't appear to need that.
Reviews appear to be generally positive with the VS7850 so will give it a go.

Was on sale last week for $95. It's a much lower profile unit that you can sit/stand if kitchen storage space is limited.
