  • 4k @ 30hz only. So maybe give this is miss if you're planning on using it with a 4K monitor.

Ah yes I should have mentioned. They almost always are ;)

      • What's the ideal parameter for 4K display? I mostly found hubs with 30Hz only

        • +1

Ideally 60Hz. I hate 4K screens though as everything is too small so I don't use them.

          • @Clear: They are awesome if your OS does scaling correctly, like MacOS. I imagine most people using 4K displays are Apple users for this reason.

Check out this link, it explains it all: https://www.bigmessowires.com/2019/05/19/explaining-4k-60hz-…

In short, USB-C hubs are all sorts of crazy if you want 4k @ 60hz. That's why most top out at 30hz.

          • @guidedlight: Yep I understand all that. Thanks for the link though.

Just for me personally I hate 4K displays and I'm even satisfied with 37" @ 1080p.

  • how long will it take to ship?

    • Recent orders have been arriving under 3 weeks. To be safe expect 3-4 weeks.

      • so they said ship on 09 April, maybe I will get a first of May

      • -1

Are you associated with this store? How do you know how long its taken for recent orders to arrive? Also you've posted many deals for these Cabletime USB hubs…

        • How do I know how long it's taken? By ordering some of the cables? Reading the comments of people who said the same in deals? Looking on the AliExpress listings and seeing that they use cainiao super economy?

First time posting a Cabletime USB-C hub. More accurately I've posted a lot of cable deals and it really isn't hard to find them. AliExpress coupons by default show up on listings, as they do on Amazon.

  • Can we stack with any other vouchers?

  • Thanks OP, I've been looking for something like the 6 in 1 with Ethernet so just grabbed one.

  • My order is showing as US$21.77 for the 6-in-1 with Gigabit LAN after applying the code.

    • That is correct. There's 2 of them.

      6 in 1 (HDMI 4k@30hz, SD/TF, RJ45, USB 3.0)
      US$21.77 (~A$28.18)

    Unresolved Reports
    1 for Sockpuppeting

Over the years I like to do a test. Mention that you negotiate a deal and you'll be accused of sockpuppeting almost everytime.

Asking a store for a deal is not sockpuppeting.

    • -1

I didn't make the report, but in negotiating the deal is there any undisclosed benefit to you?

      • +1

Nope of course not. Statistically I am for the most part a top 10 poster on OzBargain based on number of posts so I'm not some random trying to get a freevie. I already have 4 store associations declared and would add this one to it if there was association.

The report for affiliate/deferral is silly too. There's no affiliate or referral URLs. Anyone can see the source of the deal by clicking the revisions.

Prices are jacked by $10. Example: 7-in-1 USB costs $10 less here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000052751428.html?spm=a2g0o…

    • They were originally only offering $10 off. I guess you win and lose some of them. The important part is that you still manage to get a discount.

  • 6 in1 have usb pd charge ?

  • is this deal still on ?

    I get USD 34.12 for 6 in 1.
Coupon HUB159 doesnt seem to work.
