  Any reviews of the Hinterland ice cream?

  Can't find ingredients in searches.
  Woolies just show its at least 67% Australian ingredients.
  Made by Norco. Introduced late last year.

  A Connoisseur look alike at a similar price. So haven't bought.
  Now half price & 3100pts for $50 shop - might try.

    I recommend trying the burnt butter flavour, it's great. The other flavours are pretty much Connoisseur copies.

      Made by Norco, one of the better milk producers around as it is still a farmer owned co-op. Pretty popular from around Port Macquarie area up to the QLD border if I recall correctly.

      "Established in Byron Bay, New South Wales in 1895 Norco is a 100% Australian farmer owned dairy co-operative with 326 active members on 203 dairy farms in northern New South Wales and south east Queensland. Annual milk production is 214 million litres."

        Yes, Norco as I said a few times. It's a local producer for me.

        But, the question was - is the ice cream any good - seems not.

        This is an ice cream made for sale exclusively @Woolies. A Woolies Connoisseur clone. At almost Connoisseur price.

        Seems there's no ingredients list available online to assess & compare its qualify, such as cream content. Norco just lists the flavours.

        How good or old the company is that makes it is irrelevant if it's not worth buying.

          Also, I could have worded my above reply better, but just to be clear, what I meant by "Connoisseur copies" is that the other flavours aren't really anything new and Connoisseur already have similar flavours. But the burnt butter seems to be something new. Others here found it too sweet but I certainly enjoyed it and would buy again. The only other flavour I've tried is the espresso and I didn't like it. Café Grande is far superior.

            Ah - it's pretty hidden. Swipe to flavour, click on image of flavour, click on wording of flavour, swipe down & click on word Nutritionals - nutritionally info & ingredients. Not hard to find at all!

            A bit hard to compare ingredients as Hinterland doesn't give as much useful information.

    I prefer the Leggo's spinach and ricotta agnolotti. Latina changed theirs from white ricotta with bits to just this yucky green gum that looks like mashed peas. Give Leggo's a go at this discount price, I think.
