This unit had a retail price of $449 but the rep there reduced it to $349 when I asked for a good deal.
It comes with a $75 cashback which ultimately makes it $275.
Not bad for 1080P unit i think.
It plays mkv movies when i plug a USB pen drive to its port.
That's pretty much what I want.
Also 2 years standard warranty (pick up and return within 15km of a Toshiba Authorised Service Centre)

Price matching / haggling / etc are not bargains because they're not reproducible. The guy might not be there tomorrow, or he might have been sacked for giving you this deal, or maybe he only gave you this price because he wanted to go to lunch/the toilet/his grandma's house etc etc. no deal here for the rest of us.
