I am as a Telstra retail customer getting text messages for PIN verification but I never have had anything to deal with said streaming service.
It doesn't seem to be just me:

Knowing Streamotion/Foxtel as company is part owned by Telstra and Telstra sometimes does the billing as part of the phone bill I would guess they messed up this close integration of their datasets somewhat?
Anyone else receiving these messages - I am abit worried I would have to battle either of these companies for wrong billing.
It could also be that Telstra backend has messed up old references but why then do they cross-reference by MSISDN instead of account number and current verified phone numbers that match active contract/prepay subscription?
I myself had some old prepay long disowned number lying down in myservices. as contact number and it took like 10 attempts to fix too not to mention address was never updated.
I've hit them with ACMA unsolicited spam complaint considering it was unsolicited commercial message and Kayo refused to remove my number from their spamming.
Op, pm me your mobile number. I’ll check some things
