LiPo Charger Recommendation - axial scx24

Hi all

Have an axial scx24 crawler on the way, it will be my first RC and was looking for some recommendations for a better charger.

Seems to be quite a large range to choose from.

Any help is appreciated

Also seems like some chargers need a separate PSU, so any pointers there would be great too

I have an ancient venom pro charger that works fine, so literally anything relatively new should do the job.

Chargers range in price and from my experience, the price varies depending on how many other types of batteries you want to charge and/or how fast and if you need to balance the cells.

Unless there's something wrong with the charger the kit came with, stick with it unless you're committing to the hobby or other RC type batteries.

  The one that comes with it is a USB charger which everyone says is pretty bad

Any of the Turnigy/Smart 6/Imax B6 clones will do the job.

80W versions for less than $40 on eBay and 150W <$100.

    Also seems like the clones overcharge and are a fire risk?
    
    I dont plan to charge them unattended but better safe

I have an ISDT Q6 Nano which seems to do the job fine (nice and compact, decent charging rate and nice screen). The rocker switch can be a tad annoying though.

    Just read it also needs a power supply, any recommendations there?
