Can we have posts of any stores we know that is shutting down due to covid? As sometimes they would be hugely discounted. Just food for thought.
Stores Shutdown Clearance Due to Covid?
Comments
OP, you planning a Broden buy out?
NO!
I don't advise it. I still have random crap from the Dick Smith closure I never was able to sell
wouldnt huge discounts be aka bargains and be posted anyway?
or do you get some sadistic pleasure from knowing they are going out of business specifically because of covid? u from wuhan bruh?Yeah, we can have that. Do you know of any stores, OP? I’d love a list.
Thought I would pop into Good Games Town Hall today and looks like it's shut down. :(
Warhammer next door was empty too but I think they've relocated to Bathurst St.
gg is at 422 kent st now
I feel like you're a year too late.
Sadly, I think the end of jobkeeper will mean more.
Think shop will just shut the door without notice the moment job keeper payment is gone. I doubt there would be a long grace period to catch a bargain
Depends on a lot of things. If there is stock to clear and a lease to run out, things can linger.
The Rug Retailers Industry Association have just announced that all rug stores in Australia are having closing down sales due to Covid.
If it is a relatively small business, I don't think they will hang around to sell off stock as they might need staff to do that, rent needs to keep being paid, etc.
They would probably try to return stock to suppliers, or sell off via an online auction or similar.
There used to be a store called MCG Tech on wanneroo road….but they're no longer there…not sure if they shutted down prior to that or during it. Centurion computers got smart and became mobile before the pandemic even started…..or was in the early stages of spreading….. Don't know anyone else….
